This is a supportive parenting group for parents who would like to strengthen skills, learn more about child development, increase healthy family relationships, and have fun doing it. The class is targeted to parents of children 2-14 years of age. A children's group is also offered, so while you are attending class, your child(ren) can participate in skill-building activities taught through craft projects, games, stories and music.
Class will be held Thursdays, September 16 - December 9 (no class week of Thanksgiving), 5:30-8:00pm in Fort Collins. Cost is $35 for 1 adult, $50 for 2, with a sliding fee scale. Add Zest to Your Cooking: Do the Salsa!
|
| |
With vibrant colors and bright taste, fresh slasas add a burst of exotic flavor to grilled meats, chicken, fish and vegetables. Salsas give new life to burritos, beans, eggs, enchiladas and quesadillas, and make great garnishes for soups. While we often think of salsas made with tomatoes, we will expand your horizons and use other fresh fruits and vegetables.
Choose one session: noon - 1:30pm OR 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Meets at the Health District, 120 Bristlecone Drive in north Fort Collins. Cost is $10. To register and for more information, call 224-5209.
