Adult Mental Health First Aid

Adult Mental Health First Aid is a free, one-day course that gives people the skills to recognize warning signs for mental health or substance use problems, as well as the tools to help someone who may be developing a mental health-related problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants learn how to offer initial help in a mental health crisis and connect people to appropriate care. The course builds understanding of the impact of mental health and reviews specific illnesses such as anxiety, depression, substance use, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Meets 8:00am-5:00pm at the Health District offices, 120 Bristlecone Drive, Fort Collins. Free. Snacks provided. For more information or to register, contact Emily Leetham at 970-494-4370 or eleetham@healthdistrict.org.
