Autumn Equinox 2019 Women's Circle

At the Autumn Equinox, the light and dark are balanced in equal length, as we pause before the time of descent into later fall and winter, and Winter Solstice. Autumn Equinox is a time of rest after labor, a time of rebalancing after intensive work. In earlier times, this season was known as the Reaping Tide, balancing the Spring Equinox Sowing Tide. Fall Equinox is a time of inward turning and celebration. In the mythic cycle of the Goddess, the Mother Goddess is completing her activity of creation. This is the time to receive and acknowledge our personal harvests. We give thanks and blessing to the Mother and the earth for the abundance with which we have been nurtured and blessed, and prepare ourselves for the season of winter ahead.

This Seasonal Circle will be held virtually in The Sophia Women's Circle on Facebook. For more information and to register, visit the website below.
