Mental Health Speaker Series in Feb. and March (2019)

Connections is hosting a free series on mental health issues. The series runs on Wednesdays Feb. 6-March 13, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the Health District offices, 120 Bristlecone Drive, in north Fort Collins.

Topics include:
  • Wed., Feb. 13 -- Older adult mental health, presented by Kathy Krohn, LCSW
  • Wed., Feb. 20 -- Medication-assisted treatment for substance use, presented by Jess Fear, LPC
  • Wed., Feb. 27 -- Men's mental health, presented by Chuck Hancock, M.Ed., LPC, EMDRII
  • Wed., March 6 -- Eating disorders, presented by Rebekah Knight-Baughman, PhD
  • Wed., March 13 -- Anxiety, presented by Jeri Newlin, MS
  • Wed., March 27 -- Marijuana policy and enforcement in Colo., presented by FCPD Officer Jim Lenderts

  • Participants are welcome to attend a single session or the whole series. There is no charge, but reservations are required. Dinner is provided.
