Community Invited to Share Views on Health Care (Oct. 2019)

The Health District of Northern Larimer County is hosting public discussion groups to gather input on local health issues. Your feedback will help the Health District to better understand the health, and health-care needs, of local residents.

Dates and locations:
  • Monday, Oct. 28, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Health District, 120 Bristlecone Drive (with Spanish interpretation). Dinner and childcare provided.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 30, 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Health District, 120 Bristlecone Drive. Dinner and childcare provided.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Fort Collins Senior Center, 1200 Raintree Drive. (This group is to get input from older adults.) Lunch provided.

    All registered participants will receive a $20 gift card. Seating is limited, and registration is required. Register by contacting the Health District at 970-224-5209.

    The discussion groups are part of the Community Health Assessment, which the Health District has performed every three years since 1995. The assessment also includes a survey of Larimer County households that is currently underway. Information gathered during the Community Health Assessment helps guide the planning and design of programs and services at the Health District.

    The Health District is a public agency that provides residents of northern Larimer County with dental, mental health, and preventive health care, end-of-life planning services, and connects people to more affordable health insurance and prescription options.
