This support group is designed for widows and widowers who are younger than 50, and who are grieving the death of a loved one. People who decide to join can attend as often and as long as they like. Typically, people are involved with the support group for six months to two years. Friendships usually form quickly, and the group often plans activities outside the weekly meeting.
The group will meet from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays starting June 2, 2009.
Cost: The fee per session is $10.00. The group will also offer a sliding fee for individuals who cannot afford the $10.00 fee.
