Here, you will gain new skills, learning how to make simple lifestyle changes to improve function and enjoyment, also digging into deeper issues of identity, meaning and purpose, and relationship with yourself and others.

Group therapy not only offers skills, but is a unique place to receive support from others who understand what you’re going though with chronic pain and illness.

Based in a bio-psycho-social approach, the group includes:

  • fun and interactive exercises, real life examples and strategies to reduce suffering;
  • CBT, DBT, ACT, MBSR, MI, parts work, somatic/embodied practice, and self-compassion;
  • psychoeducation about the mind-body connection;
  • realistic approaches to healthy lifestyle habits, and challenging unhealthy societal norms and able-ism; and
  • group emotional and existential processing to help you feel connected, supported, hopeful, and empowered.
