Kindred Counseling, LLC

Hello! My name is Alisha. I was born and raised in northern California surrounded by redwoods and the beautiful Pacific Coast. I moved to Fort Collins and graduated with my master’s in social work from the University of Denver with a concentration in Health and Wellness.

Ever since I was young I struggled to find a true sense of belonging. It wasn't until I started volunteering at a local museum that I found purpose through interacting and working with families. Through my journey of helping others, one theme I have seen is navigating a fast-moving world full of stress and anxiety. I am able to help others overcome these daily struggles by incorporating mindfulness.

I have worked in the non-profit sector providing services for youth and their families in the northern Colorado area, and have provided individual and group substance abuse services. My passion for holistic integration has been at the forefront of my practice. The modalities I use incorporate mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and a strengths-based approach.

When I am not providing therapeutic services, I teach yoga and breathwork at the Be Free Healing Center and coach CrossFit at Old Town Athletic Club here in Fort Collins. My passion is helping guide others toward a healthy and holistic lifestyle through curiosity and exploration.
