"Be the adult you needed when you were a kid." ~ Unknown

Hello, I'm Ann Perry, LPCC, and I'm delighted to be here to support you and your family. With decades of experience working with children and a deep love for supporting their growth, I am dedicated to helping young people navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

Before becoming a licensed counselor, I spent over 20 years as a school counselor in the Poudre School District, where I was honored to be named Colorado’s Elementary School Counselor of the Year in 2011. My journey began as a special education teacher, working with children from kindergarten through high school. This extensive background has equipped me with a profound understanding of the unique needs of children and adolescents.

My childhood struggles with anxiety and depression, coupled with the lack of accessible counseling resources for children at that time, inspired me to become the compassionate, supportive adult I wished I had. I believe every child deserves to be seen and heard. My goal is to help them understand that challenges like anxiety, depression, ADD, and grief do not define them. Together, we can address these issues and empower them to thrive.

I specialize in a range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Yoga Calm, sandtray therapy, trauma-response, and mindfulness. My passion lies in helping children develop essential skills for self-regulation, social interactions, anger management, self-esteem, attention, and coping with trauma. I am committed to equipping children with lifelong tools to manage their mental health effectively.

I am here to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore their feelings and build the skills they need for a brighter, healthier future. I look forward to working with you and your child on this important journey.

Warm regards,

Ann Perry, LPCC
