Mountain Breeze Counseling, PLLC

It is not always easy to take that first step to start therapy. I strive to make you feel welcomed and comfortable from the first phone call through the last day we meet. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and strongly believe that a relationship is the starting point for change. I create a safe place for you to share your story, find purpose and meaning, and become the person you want to be.

No two individuals are alike; therefore, no two therapeutic approaches should be alike. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy drawing from several different therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and motivational interviewing. Through the application of different modalities within these methods, I strive to find the “why” behind present-day symptoms and problems. Instead of a Band-Aid fix, which can lead to persistent problems, getting to the root of the problem promotes lasting change.
