I am a licensed clinical social worker with 29 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked in northeastern Colorado, primarily in the communities of Fort Morgan, Greeley, and Fort Collins. Currently, I live in Fort Collins and have a private practice in the community.
My specialties include working with children and adolescents, families, persons with disabilities, and older adults. I am trained on issues of depression, trauma, crisis intervention, chronic mental illness, domestic violence, grief and loss, and geriatric behavioral health. My therapy approaches are non-judgmental and person-centered. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, therapeutic play, dialectical behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, positive psychology, and solution-focused therapy.
I also provide therapeutic supervised visitations for families in the process of reunification. I am bilingual and bicultural in Spanish, and I offer mental health evaluations for immigration waivers. I am offering services in-person and virtual.
