Does it feel impossible to let go of the past? Do you feel like no one would stick around if they knew the real you? My passion is working with adolescents and clients throughout their lifespan who are in the process of self-discovery and healing from trauma. If you are questioning your identity—what you are meant to bring to this world and how to move on from your past—I would love to help you find answers to some of those questions.
I work with each individual to develop a course of therapy that suits their unique needs—there is no "one size fits all" therapy. I practice an integrative approach to therapy, bringing in a variety of techniques as suited to the individual. Some approaches I draw from include CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment theory. I am EMDR Certified and utilize this modality with clients to process a variety of traumas and distressing symptoms.
I firmly believe we all deserve to feel safe, accepted, and valued, and I strive to provide that not only for my clients, but to all those I encounter. I believe we all hold deep strength and capacity to heal, but sometimes need a supportive person to believe in us until we can believe in ourselves. If you are ready to find yourself, believe in yourself, and move forward in healing, call me or email me and we can talk about what you are looking for.
