Our Village Counseling

I have diverse clinical experience with children and their families in community settings, as well as in elementary and preschool settings. I also have experience with helping children navigate developmental disabilities, behavioral and mood disorders, divorce, separation, and stepfamily dynamics. I have worked with many children who have been exposed to trauma including, abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. I believe that involving the family, parents, and other primary caregivers in the therapeutic process provides the best possible resolution for the toughest challenges.

I create a therapeutic environment that is designed to facilitate a client's potential to develop a more positive self-concept, assume greater personal responsibility, become more self-directing and more self-reliant, engage in self-determined decision-asking, become more trusting of self, and be better able to process traumatic or life-changing events.

Please check out our website for more information about my work and credentials.
