Pregnancy Postpartum and Fertility Counseling of Northern CO

My name is Emery Erhart, M.Ed., LPC, PMH-C.

I am certified as a perinatal mental health therapist. In years prior, I had the unique opportunity of being a surgical technician at a local birthing center. With my training in counseling and background from labor and delivery, I am well-equipped to support those who are struggling emotionally around the challenges of pregancy or fertility.

I am here to assure you that it is normal to experience struggles during this life-changing time, which is why I have created a space where you can talk openly and without judgment. Typically, society and social media will only show the “pretty” sides of these transitions, not the real and messy ones. I am here for you to express your unique, and all too common, experience when it comes to navigating obstacles with fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum.

As a licensed professional counselor, and through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy (IPT), I specialize in treating postpartum mental health disorders as well as fertility issues. These approaches have shown to be effective in reducing depression, anxiety, and increasing attention and ability to be present in the moment.
