Sense of Self Counseling and Mindfulness, LLC

I am an easygoing mindfulness and somatic therapy specialist with a particular interest in the intersection of mental health, attachment, and neurobiology. I specialize in research-based treatment of adults with complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, and panic and work inclusively with identity and intersectionality. In session, I aim to empower clients to understand their mental and emotional life using awareness-building practices, education, and discussion. I believe in my clients' right to make choices about their therapy and their lives—that means working collaboratively toward meeting your values and goals.

In additional to conventional therapeutic methods, I am trained in trauma-informed yoga, guided meditation, Somatic Experiencing (SEP designation through SEI), and breathwork, and I am a registered yoga teacher through Neo Yoga in Goa, India (2010). My practice is culturally informed and secular. I enjoy working with folx across a broad spectrum from a non-judgmental lens. I am poly, sex work, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and mystic friendly. I have additional targeted experience working with individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness, borderline personality, chronic pain, dissociation, functional neurologic disorders (FND, NES), and social anxiety, and I am CAMS trained for treating suicidal ideation.
