Why would we name our practice Equilibrium?

Equilibrium is a state of intellectual or emotional balance. In all aspects of our lives, we are trying to find balance—balance between work and home, balance between work and fun, balanced budgets, balanced diet. And when it comes to mental health, most of us are trying to find balance there, too.

Equilibrium provides counseling using a variety of methods, including dance movement therapy, aquatic dance movement therapy, Geek therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Mental health and behavioral concerns addressed include depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, social skills, chronic pain, and more. We provide individual, relational, and family therapy services. At Equilibrium, therapy is not about fitting the client into our mold or approach, but rather finding tools to fit the client’s needs.

Equilibrium is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, and ADA accessible.

We have providers in Loveland and Fort Collins, offering in-person and telehealth services.

Our hope with Equilibrium Counseling Services is to help clients find a stronger sense of balance and grounding and to help them stand up when life "knocks them on their backside."
