Family Care Center is a leader in comprehensive behavioral health services. We offer individual treatment for those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and co-occuring substance use. Our therapists also provide family therapy and marriage counseling. We have certified DBT therapists who provide group therapy for adults, middle school and high school-aged populations. We have certified play therapists to treat children as young as three years old. We also offer medication management for those needing this service, as well as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine infusions for those suffering with major depression.

At Family Care Center you can get a full range of counseling services for individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), couples, and entire families. We offer a full spectrum of behavioral counseling, designed to provide the support you need to navigate difficult life issues and find long-term solutions to your mental health problems. Our ultimate goal is to support you on your health and wellness journey, no matter what life situation you find yourself in. Each of our professionally led sessions include a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy. Now is the time to take advantage of all the benefits our Family Care Center staff can offer you!

Medication Management—The effectiveness of prescribed medications for various mental health concerns depends on how well they are being managed. Our specialized medical professionals will help you take control of your medication management, identifying the right medication for your condition as well as the proper dosage and method of delivery. Our team will consider all important variables to tailor your medications to your specific needs in order to achieve the best results.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is a relatively new form of non-invasive brain stimulation designed to treat symptoms of depression. This process involves sending a pulse of magnetic energy to stimulate nerve cells in areas of the brain that control mood. More specifically, in TMS therapy an electromagnetic coil is placed against the scalp, close to the forehead, and sends pulses of magnetic energy—similar to those produced by an MRI machine—to targeted nerve cells in the brain. This simple, three-minute treatment does not require any medication, surgery, or sedation with anesthesia. TMS therapy has been proven to be quite effective for the treatment of the following conditions:

  • Major depressive disorder
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Chronic pain
  • Autism
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Smoking cessation
  • Multiple sclerosis

While it isn’t the first form of treatment for these conditions, TMS may be recommended for patients who have been unable to achieve significant results from using antidepressant medications and psychotherapy. Learn more about how Family Care Center can help you!
