Life experiences we navigate often require additional support. Grief and loss, work stress/anxiety, communication and boundaries with family, anxiety about the future, and unresolved past experiences can bring up a lot of thoughts and feelings that can be hard to manage alone. Developing new tools, strategies, and perspectives is something that you and I can work on together toward a healthier, more self-fulfilled version of you.

For more than a decade, I've worked with individuals and couples in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, work stress, divorce/breakups, grief/loss and many other stressors. I have worked extensively with individuals in the helping professions, including both the teaching, medical and mental health fields.

My counseling style has been described as warm, curious, and insight-provoking. I believe that respecting you means showing lots of compassion along with a healthy respect for your ability to heal through your autonomy and self-determination.  It can include being present with you as you work to change the relationship between you and thoughts/feelings, all while re-orienting toward the values you want to live by. This is done in a way that acknowledges change is hard and can also be rewarding. It takes vulnerability and courage to seek help, and I look forward to honoring that vulnerability and courage in our sessions together.

I have availability Monday-Friday with some Tuesday and Thursday evening availability. I offer in-person sessions on Thursdays and Fridays.
