James Schultz Counseling

The greatest piece of artwork that a person can create is an empowered, successful life. We all go through difficult times in our lives. But by having support that empowers us to find our way and regain mastery in creating the life we want, transformation becomes possible. Opening up to someone about your hardest moments takes courage and a willingness to find your personal strength and make the choice to heal.

I have a supportive counseling style using evidence-based modalities. I facilitate the process through traditional therapy methods and can also provide art therapy and fishing therapy. I use a collaborative approach that assumes that you are the expert on your life, and we are teaming up together to help you overcome life's challenges. I have 20 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor and art therapist. For my clients who want to experience an outdoor therapy session, I offer fishing as a therapeutic tool to teach lessons that can be applied to everyday life.
