Firebird Counseling and Coaching

Do you feel like you're just surviving or that you're not managing stress in a way you feel good about? Maybe it shows up in your mood or energy level, your habits, relationships, sleep, your spending, or how much caffeine or other substances you use to change how you feel. Do you notice you procrastinate or avoid certain things, question your abilities, lack a feeling of fulfillment, or struggle to refill your battery? Or maybe you feel like you're doing reasonably well, but find it hard to truly thrive. Everybody gets stuck or lost sometimes. You don't have to figure this out alone. There's strength in accepting help.

If it's important to you to explore all this with someone who is relatable, has lived experience, and has done the challenging work of healing too, please reach out. You deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in creating the life you want. You can learn how to thrive and to navigate life's inevitable stressors with confidence.

Counseling is my second career, as I spent 13 years in EMS working on an ambulance and the last year and a half as a co-responder for behavioral health and crisis calls. I show up for people on their toughest days and support them through life's challenges. No one should have to go through hard things alone. I particularly enjoy working with first responders, veterans, and teens.

If you're ready to feel better and explore a healthier path forward, I would love to meet with you. Together we will get you through the struggles life brings and help you let go of things in the past that get in the way of the life you want.

I practice from a flexible lens of therapy and use a variety of evidence-based methods. My intention is to send you home with practical skills that will positively impact your life or situation. But nothing can change by just talking about it; growth takes action, and together we will illuminate a path forward.
