In therapy, we navigate new and longstanding struggles and begin to find relief from isolation, emptiness, and sometimes years of deeply held pain within the support of a trusting relationship. Finding the person to hold space for you and your experiences paves the way for healing.
I believe a secure framework is critical for impactful therapeutic work and strive to build authentic connections with clients while assisting with creating a sense of safety and empowerment. Person-centered and narrative approaches characterize my orientation to therapy, along with elements of CBT and attachment theory.
I have specialized training and experience in couples therapy and have completed Gottman level I and II training. I also work with individual clients including those with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, career concerns, and substance use.
I received a master of arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling. My background includes working with college students and other adults experiencing difficulty with transitions, career choices, and mood disorders.
