As social beings, we naturally seek resources to express our needs, build meaningful relationships, and foster connection. Keira (pronounced “Kayda”) Olivas believes that everyone possesses unique inner resources to grow, find purpose, and make a difference. However, life’s challenges can disrupt this process, leading us to rely on ineffective solutions, distort our self-perception, and hinder our decision-making and strengths.
Keira’s mission is to guide individuals toward managing life’s challenges and fostering personal growth in a healthier, more effective way. She is passionate about helping clients identify and understand the impact of their struggles, develop constructive coping skills, find their own solutions, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Her approach encourages feelings of self-love, redemption, and social connection, empowering clients to create meaningful change in their lives.
A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of Keira’s counseling practice. She prioritizes active listening, unconditional acceptance, respect, empathy, and collaboration to build trust and security. Keira creates a transparent, compassionate, and peaceful environment where clients feel safe to explore and heal. Her integrative and systemic approach is tailored to each individual’s needs, using personalized techniques to inspire growth and transformation.
Keira holds a master of arts in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling/Therapy, with a Child and Adolescent Certificate, from the University of Northern Colorado. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
