I have a personable style of working with people that allows them to quickly settle into the therapy process. I focus on helping others learn how to rely on their inner resources which will define their true personality and to recognize the beliefs or behaviors thar hold them back from their full potential. This opens up the process to build new skills, a stronger self-esteem, regain self-confidence and a real sense of direction. With a renewed sense of personal strength, people build healthier, happier relationships with family, friends, and co-workers, and pursue lifestyles with greater success. I have a special interest in working with older adults.
My therapy is interactive and supportive, blending cognitive, behavioral, dialectical, emotional, and mindfulness techniques to resolve core issues, which we are all susceptible to and can affect us and our relationships. This approach is highly pragmatic leading to new skills, insights, and behaviors. I have a long history working with a family systems model to help people build effective communication skills and find resolution with past and present relationship patterns.
