With a solid background in international community service, she brings a unique cultural perspective to her practice. Inspired by her global experiences, Mikinzie is driven to make a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives, offering both empathy and insight into the challenges they face.
Her path to counseling was shaped by a transformative university program in the United Kingdom, where she engaged in experiential learning and community service. This opportunity deepened her understanding of diverse backgrounds and further fueled her commitment to helping others.
Mikinzie holds a master of science in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wyoming and a bachelor of science in Marketing with a focus on Global Markets and Sustainability. She is a National Certified Counselor and employs a variety of therapeutic approaches, including existential theory, person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and social liberation theory.
In her work, Mikinzie values creativity and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She believes that every person’s journey is different, and strives to create a therapeutic space that feels authentic and personalized. Her calm and compassionate presence fosters vulnerability, helping clients feel comfortable and supported as they navigate their path to healing and growth.
