UCHealth Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center helps people with mental health and substance use issues achieve a balanced life and a high level of health and well-being. Mountain Crest offers mental health assessments and treatment programs for adolescents, adults, seniors, and families.

Our intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are group therapy programs that provide treatment for a wide range of behavioral health issues. The programs typically consist of 3 sessions/week over 6-8 weeks. IOPs are helpful for people who have recently discharged from inpatient settings and for those who do not need to be in a hospital, but who need more support than they get from weekly individual therapy. Some of our IOPs have both in-person and virtual options.

Adult Services - Mountain Crest offers a behavioral health IOP, focusing on mental health treatment, as well as a mental health and harm reduction IOP for those who struggle with substance use, self-harm, disordered eating, and similar concerns.

Adolescent Services - Mountain Crest also offers a teen IOP for ages 13-17. This program empowers teens to navigate life's challenges and to manage their behaviors effectively. Using skill building, process therapy, mindfulness, and emotion regulation, teens gain valuable tools for coping.

For Mountain Crest's inpatient services, assessments are available 24/7 through UCHealth's Emergency Department at Poudre Valley Hospital and at Medical Center of the Rockies.
