I’m a registered nurse with board certification in biofeedback. I’ve been using biofeedback to help clients manage stress, anxiety, insomnia, and more since 2012. I had been using it successfully for my own needs for the 5 years prior, found it fascinating, and wanted to share it with others. I look forward to helping you increase awareness of your mind/body responses and equipping you with knowledge and tools for healthier responses.
Biofeedback offers an opportunity to learn and practice self-regulation of the body and mind. Instrumentation is used to measure and give “feedback” about physiological responses. Autonomic nervous system responses, which include the fight/flight response, are often thought to be involuntary and out of our control. However, with the increased awareness that biofeedback provides, we can learn to regulate and tame these responses.
