Transform the Nest

Healing is not for the faint of heart. It is a radical act of self-determination and resilience. I honor the courage it takes to step into therapy and face the complexities of your life with honesty and intention.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and a commitment to social justice. I have experience supporting individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, substance use, and systemic barriers. I specialize in working with those carrying traumatic histories and with couples seeking deeper connection and healing. I offer a trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and anti-oppressive clinical practice.

Many people already recognize their struggles, yet feel stuck when it comes to change. The modalities I use—psychodynamic insight, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, and somatic awareness—help connect mind and body, turning insight into action and sustainable growth.

I have worked extensively in community mental health with individuals in competency restoration, with those experiencing homelessness, and people caught in cycles of incarceration and institutionalization. My work sits at the intersections of mental health, addiction, and legal systems, where I provide therapy that is pragmatic and attuned to clients’ lived experiences. I believe healing is not just personal, but collective. By reclaiming our narratives, we empower ourselves and our communities.

I am direct, yet compassionate. I invite clients to examine defenses and old patterns while providing the safety, humor, and support needed for transformation. I recognize that healing is not linear, and growth often emerges in unexpected places.

Outside of clinical work, I thrive in connection, learning, and nature. I love camping, exploring the outdoors, and drawing inspiration from the cycles of resilience and renewal in the natural world. These practices keep me grounded and present. Therapy is my calling, and I am honored to walk alongside those stepping into healing with courage and intention.
