Clarity Minds Counseling

Let's face it... life can be really tough sometimes. Balancing the happenings of life with your mental health can feel overwhelming, and sometimes you may feel like no one understands what you're going through. You deserve to feel heard and validated. Allow me to help you as we work through your challenges together to meet your needs.

Looking at counseling through a holistic lens, I believe in the importance of balancing the mind, body, and spirit. Using an integrative therapy approach, my style depends on the goals and needs of the client. I believe that the individual is the expert in their own lives and use person-centered therapy as my clinical foundation. I also include several other approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, trauma-focused approaches including cognitive processing therapy and EMDR, as well as play therapy. I work with individuals of all ages with various challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, life adjustments, and grief.

I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Winthrop University and received my master of arts in clinical mental health counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am currently pursuing my PhD at the University of Northern Colorado.

I also provide services through HigherSights Counseling.
