Sarah Birt Counseling LLC

Life can be extremely difficult and hard to bear by ourselves sometimes. We were not designed to navigate through life’s trials alone. I am a firm believer that you are an expert on your own life, but there are times when it can be helpful to have a trained professional walk alongside you as you navigate life. I am experienced in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and grief processing. I am equipped and eager to help people navigate through life transitions, guide clients through trauma recovery, help in the healing of attachment wounds, and explore questions of faith and spirituality.

I offer both individual counseling and equine therapy using a variety of person-centered, evidenced-based treatment modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and gestalt equine-assisted therapy. I acknowledge the bravery it takes to seek help through the counseling relationship. I offer a collaborative approach, walking beside each person as they grow and heal. I am committed to meeting you where you are, and provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where change and healing can occur. YOU and your story matter.
