Turning Point can turn lives around for youth who are struggling with behavioral, mental health, or substance use issues. We offer the broadest range of programs for at-risk youth, from outpatient therapy and counseling services to intensive outpatient programs, offering help and hope for youth and their families.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program: Designed for youth ages 13-17 with substance use and mental health (dual diagnosis) treatment needs. Provided in the Fort Collins office. This is 9 hours a week of CBT and DBT groups (6 hours) and individual and family therapy (1.5 hours each). It is a 6-12 week program. We take Medicaid, United, and Cigna and do single-case agreements for other insurances.
Outpatient services: Individual and family therapy and mental health and substance use evaluations for all ages in both Larimer and Weld counties.
DUI classes: For individuals of any age court-ordered to do DUI treatment. Provided in the Fort Collins office.
Behavior Coaching: Skills-based mentoring service focused on school success, including the social aspects of school, help with homework, struggles with attendance, and any behaviors impacting success in school. Over the years, this program has been grant-funded by various funding partners.
We have additional in-home services, home preservation services, and prevention services offered to youth and families involved in DHS and DYS.
Turning Point accepts many insurance plans and payment options. We accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and others as approved, including single case agreements. Sliding fee scale offered.
