Turning Point can turn lives around for individuals who are struggling with behavioral, mental health, or substance use issues. We offer a broad range of programs for all ages, from outpatient therapy and counseling services to intensive outpatient programs, offering help and hope for individuals and their families.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program: IOP for youth ages 13-17 with substance use and mental health (dual diagnosis) treatment needs. A 12-week program provided in the Fort Collins office. This is 6 hours a week of CBT, Substance Use and DBT groups; individual and family therapy is not required but encouraged.
Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program: PHP is for youth ages 13-17 who need a highly structured, intensive level of care and support than traditional outpatient services but do not require inpatient hospitalization. PHP is 28 hours of treatment per week.
Outpatient Services: Individual and family therapy and mental health and substance use evaluations for all ages in both Larimer and Weld counties.
DUI Classes: For individuals of any age, court-ordered to do DUI treatment. Provided in the Fort Collins office and virtually.
Behavior Coaching: Behavior Coaching is a skill-based mentoring service. We work with youth, parents, and families in supporting growth and development in life skills, coping skills, behavioral support, parent coaching, educational or vocational support, and so much more. Behavior coaching focuses on three major areas: life skills, coping skills, and interpersonal skill development.
ADHD Testing: Turning Point provides comprehensive ADHD evaluations for community members. Our evidence-based assessments help identify patterns related to attention, focus, and behavior, offering clarity and direction for individuals and families. Results can support treatment planning, academic accommodations, or personal understanding.
We have additional in-home services, home preservation services, and prevention services offered to youth and families involved in DHS and DYS.
Turning Point accepts many insurance plans and payment options. We accept all Medicaid, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Optum, Kaiser, United, and others as approved, including single case agreements. Sliding fee scale offered.
We have been serving northern Colorado since 1967. Please visit our website or contact us for more information about any of our programs. Referrals can be made through our website or by calling 970-221-0999 or emailing referrals@turningpnt.org.
