Overcoming addiction is a team effort.
The state of Colorado is offering free instructional support groups for family and friends of individuals who struggle with compulsive behaviors including harmful substance use. Research has shown that this program reduces substance use and improves quality of life. Seven out of ten family members who participate in the CRAFT program are successful in engaging their loved one into treatment.
In northern Colorado, groups are held at the Harmony Library at Front Range Community Campus in Fort Collins.
