Educational, experiential, and skills-building group for women.

This group will allow members to safely explore themselves and their lives, and gain support, community, and empowerment. Participants can share personal struggles and concerns and have the opportunity to receive multiple perspectives, feel seen and heard, and gain feedback in a safe and confidential environment. Through personal interactions, group members are provided the space to deepen their level of self-awareness as well as learn how they relate to others.

Themes that may be explored include goals for change, fears and obstacles, empowerment, authenticity, self-compassion, connection, relationship dynamics, and more.

The group is limited to 8 members, and we will meet for 6 weeks, every other week. The facilitator/therapist will open each session, share educational materials, and then guide group members in sharing with one another. The expectation is that each participant will be committed to attending each week and arriving on time.

The facilitator will use screening questions prior to the start of the group to make sure each person is a good fit for this group. Questions include communication style, ability to receive and give constructive feedback, reasons for wanting to be in the group, etc.
