Legacy's Journey Counseling

Many journeys can be fraught with missteps and challenges that create strife, turmoil, doubt, and regret. Beginning therapy is much like choosing the path less taken. While it may seem like a more difficult journey, it is one worth pursuing. A choice that can bring a journey and the legacy you envision of renewal, growth, joy, and serenity. Another way to view this is through our mission statement: Through the use of evidence-based best practices, we support your journey toward personal growth, self-awareness, and pursuit of your legacy to the fullest.

Let’s begin the journey together in pursuit of your new legacy.

I have worked with adults and adolescents experiencing a spectrum of concerns. Most of my work has been with substance use issues and as well as the co-occurring conditions that accompany and/or influence substance use disorder. I specialize in working with addiction, self-esteem, grief and loss, as well as career satisfaction and achievement. I also work with other issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, trauma, gambling, sports performance, and relationship difficulties.

I approach the counseling relationship from a perspective of “genuine impact,” which is another way of working toward honest and empathetic interaction. Looking at the whole person is an essential strategy to provide my clients the best possible help they are seeking. The ability to connect on an honest and empathetic level while seeing the “whole” presents an environment that I believe can lead to movement in the direction a person is looking for.
