Dr. Taj is a board-certified adult psychiatrist, originally from Pakistan. After practicing as a psychiatrist in his home country for a couple of years, he moved to the United States to pursue postgraduate education. He graduated from the psychiatry residency program at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. After graduating from the residency program, he worked as a psychiatrist in different settings, including both inpatient and outpatient, with vast experience in suboxone therapy, consultation liaison, and ECT.
He has taken care of patients from the age of 16 to the geriatric age group (including nursing home residents).
