My ideal client is someone who strives to better and empower themselves. They may struggle with anxiety and depression, or have difficulty with keeping on task and becoming easily distracted. They also may feel that they are significantly impacted by the world in which we live and want to learn how to manage these stressors to live a more positive, active life. I also have a passion for working with individuals who may not fit the 'norm' of society—I want to help them find their place in the world and find inner peace.
My approach is person-centered, and I modify my style to fit the needs of each individual I work with. I believe in focusing on my clients' strengths—even when it may be hard to identify them at first. My goal is to assist in enhancing the skills that you have, even if you do not realize that they exist.
Reaching out to seek help can be difficult, and I want to congratulate you for doing so. This is the first, and often the hardest, step to making the positive changes in your life. As a therapist, I see my role as a guide and a support.
